3 ways to wear with Weddington Way: The Holiday Dress Guide

With the holiday season upon us, I am sure your to-do list and social calendar are filling up fast!  What better way to stay on budget and save time than to plan your celebratory outfits by reusing one dress in multiple ways?!  Today I am happy to share with you this Alfred Sung dress from Weddington Way styled for three different holiday occasions.  (You can find tons of other great dresses for any event in their bridesmaid dress collection!) Also, how great is it that this dress has pockets?!  If you want to see more ways to re-style pieces from your closet, check out my one piece 3 ways posts.

Keep your outfit festive but comfortable for a Christmas dinner at home.  Add a little sparkle to your feet and keep your jewelry simple.  And, how great is this plaid scarf?
dress / flats / necklace / bracelet / scarf

For a festive celebration with your coworkers, maintain a professional aura with covered arms and legs.  However, sprinkle in the Christmas sparkle and shine in small details like rhinestones hidden in eyewear and a touch of patent leather on your toes.  Throw on a fun necklace for the after work hours and you are set!

Heading out on the town for a celebration with friends?  Add some heels, a clutch with sheen, and paint the town those nails red!

A perfect fall outfit

Here you have it- an easy and perfect outfit for fall.  Simple to throw on in a hurry and sophisticated enough to feel collected and confident no matter what your day brings.  I just love the colors autumn brings to nature and our fall wardrobes- the berries and browns here speak to the season and make a great fashion statement.

The days are still in the 90's in my sunny neck of the woods- I suppose I should be grateful but I really can't wait for fall!  While some of you might be lucky enough to be enjoying the crisp autumn weather and turn of the leaves, all I can do is dream about fall weather and the cozy fashion that comes with the days of pumpkin spice lattes.  Fall and winter are the perfect time to don a festive plaid print, and nothing is easier to keep you warm and festive looking than a scarf!  So here you have it, a roundup of plaid scarves that are perfect for taking you from those brisk fall days through the frosty winter months.

Fashionista photo shoot

A few months ago I was lucky enough to participate in a project that I styled and got all glammed up for.  The talented Annie from AEA Photography shot these photos and I could not be more pleased with the results!  This project left me feeling like I could style photo shoots for a living and be happy as a clam!

Fall Favorites: Altuzarra for Target

Hello again, 3P beauties! I know it has been a while but if you are following me on Instagram or Facebook, you know I am still around and loving life.  While this first month of fall is already flying by, it still feels much like summer in my neck of the woods.  Of course, I am thankful for the sunshine, but at the same time I cannot wait for cool fall weather and the cozy sweaters, scarves, pumpkin lattes and fall leaves that are brought around with those cooler days.  And of course, Target has a great fall designer collaboration out for all of us to enjoy- here are a few of my favorites from the Altuzarra for Target collection.  Do you have any favorites you are eying or have you scored a new closet gem from this collection already?

1. This orchid print maxi dress is elegant in its simplicity and I can picture it dressed down with a jean jacket and boots, or up with a statement necklace and sparkly heels.

2. Paired with a pencil skirt or jeans, this orchid print sweatshirt would make your daily fall uniform come together in a fashionable snap.

3. In fall's hottest hue, this green python sweatshirt is the perfect fall addition to your wardrobe.

4. For an instant strong, stylish statement, layer this contrast-sleeve trench over your favorite fall frock.

5. Over-the-Knee Boots are not anything I have ever worn before, but these designer beauties at an approachable price are enticing.

6. I love a good peasant blouse for fall, and this rich plum number has detailing galore to enjoy- no necklace required.

Spring date night stripes

A few weeks ago, thanks to a woman very close to my heart, the man and I got away for the first time since 3PbabyB arrived for a little date night.  The weather was warm, the dinner spot was hoppin,' and I was so happy to throw on a dress and heels for the occasion.  My necklace made it's debut appearance that night and oh-how-I-love the green spikes!

7 denim shortalls under $100

One spring trend that is popping up everywhere?  Short denim overalls, or shortalls, if you will.  I am not 100% sold on this fashion fad recurrence (who else owned these and Birkenstocks in 4th-6th grade?), but sometimes these casual cool overalls entice this fashionista.  This post was actually inspired by a sweet friend's desire to find some cute overalls, so whether its you that is looking for a pair or if one of your friends is the one is search of some short overalls, here are 7 on-trend denim shortalls under $100.

Cobalt jeans

Some more love for blue on the blog today (did you catch my blue crush?)- say hello to my favorite little jeans, these cobalt skinnies.  Glad I wore these last week for some running around when the weather was a little cooler- because it is way to hot to be wearing these now that the temperatures are in the 90's this week!

Baby B maternity style

Yesterday little #3PBabyB turned 2 weeks old and my heart could not be filed to the brim with her any more than it already is! in honor of the typical Wednesday outfit posts, here's a peek at the outfits I wore while my baby bump with this little girl was growing and growing.  You can get all the outfit details here, or shop maternity styles at Old Navy, Target, and ASOS like I did throughout theses months.  If you have your own little baby bump or a friend who is rocking one, I hope these outfits inspire you to feel like a fashionable baby bump lady!
