Ah yes, sitting here writing this post in cool air conditioning, while I arrange these pictures that were all taken in 100+ heat.  Yes, the heat wave has hit my town and decided to stay a while, hence absolutely no layering has been required for any hour of the day.  I am so thankful for lightweight fabrics and flowing skirts!  Hopefully these outfits help to inspire some of your summer wardrobe, so enjoy, and remember to vote for your favorites in the Weekly Wardrobe Win!

What a hoot!

I love having a little outdoors in my home, and plants and animals are my ideal kind of decorations.  I have shared with you a few wild things that reside in and decorate my house, and today I am sharing a few things that are a hoot to have around.  Although I am really wanting to find an owl sweater to go with the rest of these Strigiformes, right now I just smile whenever I walk by these hoots.

Wonders from the Weekend

This weekend was a whirlwind of wonderful moments.  I spent so much time with great girlfriends, tried some new recipes, escaped the heat by enjoying time indoors, hosted friends whom we have missed since they moved, celebrated a sweet friends birthday, and rounded out the weekend with a delicious homemade brunch (which I think will have to become a tradition).  I am feeling so blessed and have many great memories from this weekend to smile about.  I couldn't be happier!

For those of you who haven't seen, Trina Turk has released her fall collection.  While it is still really too hot in my neck of the woods to think of cool fall weather, I have just loved perusing over and over through the Trina Turk website, because I am just totally in love with her fall collection (see my previous post about loving Trina Turk's creations here).  The pieces are exactly the classic, stylish, sophisticated sexy style that I want to cultivate as my own.  So yes, we can say together, "3Ppretty blog, you are obsessed!"  Well Mrs. Turk, I just cant help myself because your designs are so enticing...  Yes, Trina Turk has done it again!
