Wonders from the weekend

You know it's a good weekend when you get to spend relaxing time with some of your favorite people, visit your alma mater which you have so much love for, enjoy home cooked meals and brownies for dessert, celebrate birthday time with a loved one, and decorate to your hearts content (see newly designed table centerpiece above). Really, all I want to do is put this past weekend on repeat- the only drawback was a big dog with bad flatulence. Oh we'll, you can't have it all all the time! Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend, and make this week a great one, 3P style, no matter what you are facing!

Obsessed: LC Lauren Conrad- Spring '13 line for Kohl's

TGIF, my wonderful 3P friends!  What a week this has been- so happy that the weekend is almost here.  With Friday usually making all of us happy, I just thought I would share a little something else that is making me happy- Lauren Conrad's Spring collection for Kohl's!  When she released her photos yesterday, I could not stop eying each adorable look.  Everything looks so fresh and spring-like, the polka dots are adorable, and the staging in Lauren's photos depicts (as I imagine it) the ideal spring Saturday.  Well done, Lauren and team, well done!

The ABCs of winter white

When it comes to fashion rules... there really aren't any these days.  Its more of a 'wear whatever your want' kind of fashion world! Therefore, 'no white between labor day and memorial day' is no longer relevant.  So on these cold winter days, feel free to layer on the white.  Choose a warm cream sweater, a soft jacket or vest to add on top, and a light colored scarf to keep your neck covered.  Add ivory or white pants (jeans or slacks will be just fine, depending on the event you will be heading to), and you will be all jet set in winter white!  What a perfect way to brighten up your cold winter months wardrobe!

Daily Dressing

Its that time of the week again, here on the 3P blog... Its outfit sharing time!!  The winter weather seems to have disappeared the last couple of days, and I am so thankful for the bright sunshine that I have been able to enjoy!  Warm sunshine on a 65-70 degree day equals no need for the typical winter layers, and I really have taken advantage of these warm days recently.  Also, I am happily sticking with my goal to wear more color during these cold months, instead of the black and grays that are so easy to gravitate toward.  As usual, I am sharing these outfits in hopes that you fabulous 3P readers get some inspiration for new outfits, so be sure to vote in this week's Weekly Wardrobe Win and let me know which ones are your favorites!

January blues

It is no secret here on this 3P site that I love to decorate.  For each season.  For each event.  Really, for any day, or anywhere that I am, I love some particularly pretty decorations and seasonal decor just makes me smile.  So although there are not too many 'holidays' in January (except for ringing in the new year and celebrating MLK Jr., right?), and although there is no snow and hardly any severe winter weather in my neck of the woods, I still happily arranged a few January decorations around my home.  Although some may laugh, everyone who lives here and has visited has enjoyed these little beauties. Wonders from the weekend

Hello there, Monday! Who is ready for this week to begin? Well, I guess we all have to be, so chins up, buttercup! The man and I took a little drive north for a little weekend getaway, which was filled with beautiful sunshine and a little adventuring. New year, new organization

One of my favorite things (you faithful 3P readers know, no doubt) is to organize the heck out of anything.  And on top of that, I love a little DIY project.  When Samsill saw this project, they were kind enough to contact me and send me some of their great binders.  There were so many fun colors to choose from, and enticing features such as biodegradable speedy spine qualities had me dreaming of the most ideal binders ever.  And trust me, as I have worked with these binders to create a little more organization in my life, they really are the high quality materials that you want in an office binder.  And how perfectly 3P is this blue color binder they sent me?!  I still have some more to add to each of these binders, but thanks to Samsill I am feeling much more organized these days!
