As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I got to enjoy a lovely little weekend brunch with some friends. We basked in the sunshine, sipped on mimosas, de-stressed from some crazy, busy, hectic, wonderful life schedules, and made some fun plans for the future. I threw together this quick and easy weekend brunch by making a family-favorite egg souffle, cutting up some fresh fruit, baking scones, and serving up some bacon. Along with the food, I set up a mimosa bar with several kinds of juices, champagne, and some sliced fruit for garnishes. I also snipped some blooms from the garden to decorate the tables a bit. This was by far one of the easiest, most lovable, and entirely enjoyable entertaining events I have ever enjoyed putting together. Here are some snapshots of this lovely brunch for you to enjoy! Check out lots of other brunching inspiration I am loving here.

Wonders from the weekend
Happy Monday, 3P pretties! Hope that you all had a lovely weekend. Mine was fairly relaxing and full of lots of good times with great people. The warm weather called for a homemade brunch in the shade, the enjoyment of bright, beautiful blooms, SPF when outside with great friends, petting our kitty cats in the sunshine, and iced drinks, all the way. I took a quick road trip to kick off the wedding week for one of my best friends, and I could not be more excited for all the upcoming celebrations for her and her love. And yes, I do basically have all the songs on the above CD memorized now, because of that road trip. Don't blame me- I never really had a CD collection growing up, so my kid side even in my young adult years is sometimes clamoring for a compact disc instead of downloaded mp3 files! This is going to be a busy but wonderful week, and I hope that every day of this week is wonderful for all you awesome 3P wonderfuls!
And just to leave you with a smile this Monday...

Just a few favorites from around the web this week, on this TGIF! Have a great weekend, 3P style, and I will see you back here next week! xo
1. My 90's childhood has me appreciating the brights trend like I never though I would- adoring the bright color of this Kate Young for Target dress.
2. Hands-down, my favorite brunch meal is eggs benedict- I am excited to try this recipe for a crowd one of these days.
3. I am playing this song on repeat. Making up dance moves too!

6. I laughed so hard on a day I really needed it, after I found this page. I love me some Arrested Development!
7. Flowers are starting to bloom in my garden, and I cannot wait to make freshly cut, simple arrangements like this.
8. Loft is having a 50% sale on their sale, and I cannot get these heels out of my head!
9. Mr. DLR can do no wrong. Swoon over the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014 bridal collection here.

DIY polka dot jewelry dish
Here is another very simple DIY project that has brought a little shine and a lot of smiles into my life! Stylish storage for my jewelry is something that is a must for me, and this little DIY dish is taking the cake these days. All you will need for this project is a little white dish (I used a soap dish from the dollar store) and some permanent or paint markers (gold Sharpies available here). Decorate your little dish any way you like, let dry, and add your jewels! Voilà, a cute little jewelry dish is all yours to enjoy! Or make this as a gift that any jewelry loving lady in your life will love.
PS- I realize that my polka dots are not the most uniform polka dots ever, but the 3P artsy side of me is totally okay with this as it adds a completely personalized touch to this DIY jewelry dish.
Just had to add a little happy note to the side too!
All atop my dresser!

Weekly Wardrobe
Happy Wednesday, 3P pretties! Just some bright colors and outfits for warm spring days here on the blog today. This girly 3P girl loves dress and skirt weather! Seriously, the spring weather in my neck of the woods has warmed up so quickly that spring layers are hardly even required these days- just a light jacket for a windy day. Planning for a week of outfits is definitely easier these days when dresses pretty much fill the bill, but the jackets and scarves are always on standby!

My April Birchbox
Its a BEAUTIFUL day and a beauty filled kind of 3P post here! A little gem of a beauty-filled Birchbox was delivered to my doorstep yesterday, and after peeling away the pretty pink tissue paper, I was met with some very exciting little gifts! These little samples are just what I am needing this time of year!
< Apparently tiny tweaks needs to be my beauty theme right now... obviously! >
< April how have you come so soon and oh, wait, are those macaroons?! >
< Sweetness! Macaroons, eye cream, pink polish, and moisturizer for my hair and skin... plus a free subscription to Women's Health Magazine. Score! >
< I totally need a bright pink polish, and this color changing one will be fun for the warmer months of this year. I love a good eye cream and am excited to try this one out, and my scaly-looking hands are in desperate need of some moisturizer! >
Thanks Birchbox!

Styling with Stitch Fix
< My very first Stitch Fix shipment! >
Y'all know this 3P girl loves a good, successful shopping trip, but know what I am enjoying more of lately? Shopping options shipped right to my doorstep! When I heard about Stitch Fix from a good college friend, I couldn't wait to give it a try! I signed up, filled out my style profile, requested some dresses for some specific special occasions that are coming up, and then waited with baited anticipation for my first Stitch Fix shipment to arrive. Trying on all of these clothes at home was wonderful- no smelly dressing room, and I could pair the right shoes (right out of my own closet!) with each outfit! The Stitch Fix team provides excellent personal styling services (personalized item selections based on your style profile, and each items comes to you with 2 different styling sessions), and when something in my box didn't fit quite right, my stylist simply shipped me an alternate size without any hassle. The easiest part about purchasing and returning with Stitch Fix? You simply mail back your 'return' items in a prepaid envelope, and your credit card is only charged for the items you keep. There was only one item from this box that I ended up keeping, and I can't wait to wear it to an upcoming event!
