Daily Dressing

Oh Thursday during a short week- I am glad that you are here!  The spring weather around here has been delightful with cool mornings and warm sunny afternoons, and I could not ask for better days that this.  While I rarely feel blue, I obviously love wearing hues of blue- just check out this compilation of recent outfits!  The fashion blogger in me is always trying to mix it up and give the whole spectrum of colors a chance in the spotlight, so note to self: blue has had plenty of stage time as of late.  Enjoy perusing through these outfit pictures and be sure to mark your favorites in this week's Weekly Wardrobe Win!

On a completely side note, have you caught any of the new Arrested Development episodes on Netflix?  I am laughing more and more as the season continues- what do you think?

Wonders from the weekend

< Passing through the CA capital on a little road trip >

Hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend!  It is hard to believe that Memorial Day 2013 has come and gone, and now June is right around the corner!  On this Tuesday that feels like a Monday, the 3-day weekend many of us just enjoyed has me still wishing that every weekend was at least 3 days long.    We filled our last weekend of May with a graduation celebration, a quick road trip to visit with friends, BBQ time, a few birthday celebrations, and way too much good food.  It was truly a great weekend filled with many wonderful memories.  Hope all you 3P wonderfuls have a great short week!

Wonders from the weekend

< Fabulous 'grown up' food at game night with fun friends! >

This weekend went by way too fast, and I am set on thinking that weekends should always be three days long!  The sunshine and heat was wonderful to be out and about in, but cold drinks were definitely necessary for enjoying the summer-like weather.  The man and I enjoyed a slightly competitive game session with friends which made for a super fun night, I escaped some responsibilities and snuck away to wine country with my bestie, a new delicious Itialian restaurant was discovered, church was nurturing and wonderful as always, toddlers tugged at my hair while I helped out in Sunday school, and progress on a few back yard improvement projects was made.  Quite a wonderful weekend, all in all!  Monday is off to a busy start as usual, but I am going to make this a great week (3P style, of course!) just like I hope all you are planning to do!

< how.stinkin'.cute are these homemade snails on a log snacks?! >

< spotted some classic beauties at a race in wine country >

< rigatoni with homemade, baked meatballs- my taste buds melted! >

< the start of the new patio area- laying stones in a proper pattern is obviously one of my skills! >

Obsessed: this week around the web

Happy Friday, 3P pretties! What a busy week it has been! I have a wonderful weekend ahead of me- game night with friends, domestic time with my man, awesome church time, and working on several
still-not-yet-finished projects; yes, I know it will be a quiet weekend at home, but this is exactly what I am looking forward to.  Here are just a few of my favorite things from around the web this week. I
hope you all have a great weekend, 3P style, and I will see you back here next week!

1. Trulia lists Barbie's mansion with a hefty price tag
2. Loving the look of this footed glass hurricane from West Elm
3. Glitter heels with bright pink??  Yes please, Kate Spade!
4. This sounds like the perfect cake for spring
5. An adorable and totally useful tray
6. How cute are these labels for a wine tasting party??
7. I know it is no longer a brand new film, but I am still itching to see this Jackie Robinson story
8. Aqua is the perfect color for summer, and this Stella & Dot bracelet takes the cake
9. I love a good DIY, and will have to give these artistic coasters a try

Noodles for all!

< Enticing entry >

Exploring new territory is one of my favorite activities on life, and this is true even regarding new restaurants near my little suburb. I was recently introduced to what is now my new favorite restaurant by one of my sweetest friends, an do cannot get over its deliciousness! Noodles & Company is not just noodles- they offer pasta dishes from around the world, plus soups, salads, sandwiches, and the most amazing soda machine you will ever use. Are you a vegetarian, on a gluten- free track, or have any other dietary specifications? No problem- everything at Noodles & Company is totally customizable! Take a look at some of the deliciousness I got to enjoy at my local Noodles & Company the other day, and find one near you here to try out soon!

< Amazingly delicious appetizers with fresh asparagus (the veggie they use on these changes so it aligns just perfectly with the season) >

< A tasty salad and two noodle dishes- these were Japanese pan noodles and Bangkok Curry, but we got to sample a little of almost every other noodle dish too! >

< Taste testing with best of friends is the best! >
