4 pins (x3) for Friday

< Dreamin' of traveling the world- Capri, Monoco, and of course Paris! >

TGIF!!  Hooray, hooray that today is Friday!  We dream of Fridays all week, right? So I thought it would be quite appropriate to share some dreamin' kind of things today... especially since Californians ( and admittedly, me and the husband too) are pretty much dreaming about we might do with millions upon millions if a few numbers tonight happen to be our lucky numbers- ha!  Travel the world, buy a little place in Monoco, build that dream house/kitchen/closet...  Aside from the humorous mention of dreaming about these things because of 'lucky numbers,' the pins in this post are things I really would love to experience in life. Hey, a girl can have her daydreams, right?

Hope you have a dreamy kind of 3P weekend planned for yourself, and see you back here next week!

Outfits, outfits, outfits!  I love putting matchy-matchy pieces together and accessorizing to the hilt, as is fairly perceptible in these outfit photos.  And to confirm, yes- my outfit inspiration as of late can be attributed to mint green, Mad Men, and muted pastels (can you guess which is which??).  Completely loving these trends for spring!  Enjoy, and I hope this helps to inspire you to created new spring outfits!

Python Prerogative

< Heels is my rotation of current favorites (seen here) and a handbag from The Limited that I have had foreeeever >

Happy Wednesday, 3P Pretties!  My week is really turning out to be just as busy (if not more so) as expected, but I am happy to know that the middle of the week is here.  This spring weather is rainy, cold, and gray, so March is really going out like a lion and not like a lamb!  In keeping with all the animal thoughts that this stormy weather is conveying in my mind, I dug through the trenches to showcase a few of my favorite python print items from my closet.  While I am not really a fan of snakes to any degree, I cannot resist a tempting animal print (evidence: here and here) for my shoe collection, my closet rod, or my jewelry drawer.  So I happily present to you today my non-scary collection of python print goodness.

< A fun blue belt from Old Navy, a snakeskin print bangle, and these bejeweled Betsy Johnson earrings make for easy whimsical outfit accessories >

< A clutch in some of my favorite colors (see it on Instagram) and some old yet still loved Carlos Santana heels- blues are my favorite hues, even in python print! >

< Back to basic colors in python prints that work as neutrals- see these two pieces in an outfit >

DIY jewelry time

< The supplies that started it all... >

Sometimes, there is nothing I love more than a little craft time.  Granted, I am not the craftiest person around, but a little effort and some creativity can result in quite a nice little homemade something or another.  The other night my friends and I enjoyed some down time and attempted to make some jewelry.  That night sparked a few creative ideas, and this post shows the recent results.  What can I say- I love jewelry- and the fact that I crafted some of these pieces is just that much more fun!  I am looking forward to debuting these in upcoming outfit posts!

Psst! Looking for some more jewelry making ideas?  See some of my other jewelry DIYs herehere, and here.

< What I made on craft night with the girls: Used two different chains and a few gems to make a mixed metal necklace (which I love, but plan to add at least 2 more jewels to) and a bracelet that can also double as a necklace >

< An old sparkly bracelet, and 2 new friendship bracelets from my dear friend Carrie... With a dose of superglue I created... >

< Avery sparkly and bright, dressed-up friendship bracelet!  Looks so fun, it might become one of my new arm party favorites! (Catch a glimpse of some of my arm parties here) >

< I saw this adorable gold starfish pin in a thrift store the other day and just couldn't pass it up!  I debated about turning it in to a necklace or a ring, and the ring idea rang true.  First, I dug up an old ring to use with this cute little starfish guy... >

< Next, I snipped the back of the pin off.  This was fairly easy because 1) The pin was just glued to the starfish and 2) The glue was fairly old.  Thankfully, this step was a cinch! >

< Ta-da! With a little glue, I have myself a totally fun new ring!

Wonders from the Weekend

Happy, Monday, 3P pretties!  This week is going to be slammin', but busy is how I like to live my life, so busy it will be this week- just like any other!  I can hardly believe that the end of March is drawing near, but what a wonderful month this has been! This weekend rounded out the amazingly fun weekends that March has included- parties with friends, jewelry and crafting with the girls, enjoying the completion of some projects around the house with the husband, and brunching on delicious food and enjoying the beautiful spring weather.  Weekends always go by too quickly, but I am always thankful for pictures that can so easily bring back fun memories from the weekend days (and the pictures in this photo collage will have me smiling all week!).

Rock this week, 3P style!

< Weekend snapshots: wine at a fun jewelry party, homemade mini cheesecakes, crafting with my girls, chocolate chip pancakes, birthday celebrations, and a tasty bloody mary! >

Obsessed: Fresh and Minty

TGIF!!! Words can probably not express how happy I am that Friday is finally here, but I'll include a little 'hip-hip-hooray!!' in here just to let you know that is what is running through my head on this fine day.  As this day is making me very happy, I thought it would be fun to share with you a color that is making me very happy as of late: mint.  I have seen this shade popping up in stores everywhere, and cannot wait to incorporate more of it into my life.  I am really a big fan of blue, but any shade thereof- aqua, teal, mint- is also mighty fine by me.  Now, I will be off to hunt down a mint top this weekend, and enjoy some thin mints, York mints, or dessert mints in honor of my current love of mint!

Have a fabulous weekend, 3P pretties, and I'll see you back here on Monday!

< Mint goodness found on Pinterest- I will take one of each of these items please!>

< Just right for a spring mani, mint-hued polish and silver sparkle make a great pair >

< If I find some mint jeans (or if you are looking for suggestions on what to pair with your mint clothing) , these ideas will come in very handy! (via Pinterest) >

Also, how gorgeous are these earrings with a hint of mint?!  For more fun jewelry (and to hunt down accessory treasures in green), click here- there are lots of beautiful necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and handbags that you might love to add to your collection, or give as a fun gift (this site is really going to help me with upcoming birthdays, Mother's Day, and graduations)!

Instalately

Happy Thursday, 3P followers!  Part of me cannot believe it is only Thursday, and the other part of me is super glad it is already Thursday- the days this week have been going by slowly for me, but the week is going by fast... except when I am thinking it is a day behind or a day ahead.  Oh well! Good thing I have Instagram throughout the day, to keep me remembering what day it is and what I wore or did throughout the day.  Ahh, the brain of a woman who is always thinking about everything- always so many things to accomplish, remember, and excel at, right?  Here are a few Instagram shots from lately for you to enjoy (and just fyi, I always love re-looking at these pictures)!  You can also see these Instagram photos here and here.

Weekly Wardrobe

Here we are at Wednesday again, 3P pretties! The days are becoming jam packed and the calendar is filling up with tasks as well as fun times, but I am always so happy when a Wednesday rolls around because I (typically) post about my favorite topics on hump days- fashion!  Here are my outfits as of late, which have helped me endure both the "in like a lion:and "out like a lamb" weather this month even though each day has been a different weather matter to deal with than the day before.  I am thankful for light jackets on warmer spring days (now that spring is officially here, as of yesterday), but I am also glad to have a few heavier jackets on hand for those cooler mornings and rainy days.  You can also note from the photos in this post that I am loving snakeskin (heels and flats), a trusty pair of platforms, and a dash of color here and there.  Hope that these outfits inspire you to create some new outfits in your weekly wardrobe!

And drumroll please... today is the first outfit post with a poll!  Thanks to my good friend, the lovely Andrea, who introduced me to this idea, there will be a poll you can vote in for each weekly outfit post!  Scroll down to vote on your favorite outfit in this post in my Weekly Wardrobe Win poll!  Also, pop on over to my Facebook page to catch a few outtakes from each outfit post as of late!
