This weekend was a whirlwind! Between out-of-town work trips, catching up on things around the house, running errands, taking in the crowd at a local food fair, celebrating a friend's wedding, and hosting family here for a visit, the past two days have just zoomed by. Even though the Royal Wedding was last Friday, the wedding themed weekend continued as we attended a wedding in Sacramento (sans infamous English men and women). The warm weather and sunshine made outside trips enticing, and a quick walk around a mobile food fair (cut short in order to get to the wedding on time) had me wishing I could lay out by a pool and catch some of those great rays. A tour around our backyard left me so thankful for the work that is completed and the good times we will have this summer enjoying all of the gardening that we have accomplished. So sorry to see this weekend ending, because this coming week is jam-packed with work, meetings, and other activities. But I am going to make it a great week- how about you?
