There has been a new item added to the entertainment center in our house in the past few weeks... guess what it is!! That's right, a record player! This isn't just an old-school record playing machine, however- this guy not only plays records, but can convert the songs from the vinyls into MP3 format for use on more modern electronic devices. Now the computers and iPods in our house are rejoicing! And so are we- all of the records that we inherited have been sitting so nicely on a shelf in our hallway, but unable to share their melodies within the walls of this house. All of this is changing now, though. Records have been played on this lovely little turntable, some dancing may or may not have occurred on the living room floor, and the awesome collection of records are beginning to make their way into the modern MP3 music format. Hooray! Now, if I can just find some time to alphabetize all of these record albums...
